Cayce's Visit - July 22-28, 2002

We didn't get many pictures during Cayce's visit here, unfortunately. Two things we got to do/see were the National Police Memorial in downtown DC, and Great Falls Park. We also visited an Egyptian artifacts exhibit at the National Gallery of Art which focused on the Egyptian quest for immortality.

National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial

"IT IS NOT HOW THESE OFFICERS DIED THAT MADE THEM HEROES, IT IS HOW THEY LIVED." VIVIAN ENBY, SURVIVOR
"THE WICKED FLEE WHEN NO MAN PURSUETH, BUT THE RIGHTEOUS ARE BOLD AS A LION" PROVERBS 28:1
"IN VALOR THERE IS HOPE" TACITUS
THIS MEMORIAL IS DEDICATED TO ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. INSCRIBED ON THESE WALLS ARE THE NAMES OF THOSE MEN AND WOMEN WHO DIED IN THE LINE OF DUTY.
"CARVED ON THESE WALLS IS THE STORY OF AMERICA, OF A CONTINUING QUEST TO PRESERVE BOTH DEMOCRACY AND DECENCY, AND TO PROTECT A NATIONAL TREASURE THAT WE CALL THE AMERICAN DREAM" PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH

This statue is along the way towards the National Gallery of Art from the National Police Memorial. I believe it is of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall.

Great Falls Park

This year we walked further down to the Mather's Gorge area.
