Federal government was on a "liberal leave" policy. So I got on the bike to test my luck with the snow.

Where the water slows down, the top freezes over
Remember the beaver chewed tree from the previous bike trip? When this tree fell in the forest, I'm sure it made a sound. Notice it took out a smaller neighbor when it fell.

There are a couple of different animal tracks here, the only one I'm sure of is, of course, deer. Once, from my office building, I saw a fox once in these woods...
Frozen over lake, up close, someone was walking on the ice earlier. Not me!

Walking along, I saw a pristine patch of snow, and well, I never got the chance in Texas.
