Another formation called Kilt Rock, named for the folds of rock on a cliff by the sea. The cooling of molten volcanic rock formed vertical columns in a hexagonal or octagonal pattern. Erosion then exposed these columns, which now look like the folds of a Kilt. You can almost see that from these pictures though.
